Your Disney Cruise is getting closer, and now is the perfect time to start thinking through Port Adventures, adult-exclusive dining, spa appointments, beverage tastings, character experiences, makeovers, nursery reservations, and other onboard activities.
Use this page to review the process, understand what can be booked in advance, and submit your activity requests so Traveling Ears Vacations can prepare before your eligible Disney Cruise Line booking window opens.
Before You Begin
Disney Cruise Line activities vary by ship, itinerary, sailing date, port of call, guest age, and availability. Some experiences can be reserved in advance once your cruise is paid in full and your activity booking window opens. Other experiences are included with your cruise and do not require advance reservations.
Because many popular activities are limited, we ask that you complete this form at least 72 hours before your booking window opens. This gives our team time to review your requests, verify your information, and prepare to make selections as early as possible.
When Can Cruise Activities Be Booked?
Your activity booking window is based on your Castaway Club level or Concierge status, and your cruise must be paid in full before activities can be reserved. If you are unsure of your exact booking date, please reference your original confirmation email, check the Disney Cruise Line app, or contact Traveling Ears Vacations for help.
Booking windows are counted prior to your sail date. Availability, pricing, and offerings are controlled by Disney Cruise Line and may change at any time.
How This Process Works

Review Port Adventures, adult-exclusive dining, spa services, beverage tastings, character experiences, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Pirates League, Royal Tea experiences, Goofy’s Sports Deck, youth clubs, and nursery options.
Please list your highest-priority activities first. If something is very important, include alternate dates, times, or backup choices so we have flexibility if your first choice is unavailable.
Include desired dates, meal times, party size, guest names when helpful, age restrictions, port names, and any alternate options.
When your eligible window opens, we will attempt to reserve your requested activities based on current Disney Cruise Line availability. Requests are never guaranteed.
Activities You May Want to Reserve in Advance
The exact options available depend on your ship, sailing, port schedule, and Disney Cruise Line’s current offerings. Use the categories below to help decide what to include on your request form.
Port Adventures
Shore excursions selected by Disney Cruise Line. Options may include beach days, snorkeling, cultural tours, wildlife experiences, city tours, private island activities, and more.
Adult-Exclusive Dining
Adults-only restaurants are available across the Disney Cruise Line fleet and are limited to guests ages 18 and older. Reservations are required and additional fees apply.
Spa & Salon
Senses Spa & Salon services may include massages, facials, salon appointments, and other treatments. Most spa services are designed for guests ages 18 and older.
Beverage Tastings
Beer, wine, champagne, margarita, martini, bourbon, whiskey, rum, gin, mixology, and other tasting seminars may be offered. These are adult-only experiences and require reservations.
Character Experiences
Some character experiences may require advance reservations. Availability varies by ship and sailing, and Disney may release select experiences closer to sailing.
Makeovers & Royal Experiences
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, Pirates League, Royal Court Royal Tea, Adventure Tea with Royalty, Olaf’s Royal Picnic, and similar experiences vary by ship and sailing.
Port Adventures
Port Adventures are Disney Cruise Line shore excursions offered at ports of call around the world. Because your options depend on your itinerary, please use Disney’s Port Adventures page to filter by destination, port, ship, and sailing when available.
- Best for: Families who want planned excursions, beach time, snorkeling, sightseeing, local culture, active adventures, private island activities, or a more structured day in port.
- Pricing: Pricing varies significantly by destination, activity type, age, duration, and provider. The most accurate price will appear once you are logged into your Disney Cruise Line reservation and your booking window is open.
- Availability: Port Adventures are limited and may sell out. Include alternate choices when possible.
- Private islands: Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point may offer cabanas, bike rentals, snorkeling, floats, family beach activities, adult-exclusive areas, and other island experiences depending on your sailing.
Adult-Exclusive Dining & Beverage Tastings
Adult-Exclusive Dining
Disney Cruise Line adult-exclusive dining may include Palo, Palo Steakhouse, Palo Trattoria, Remy, Enchanté, and other ship-specific venues. These experiences are for guests ages 18 and older, require reservations, and include additional fees.
Beverage Tastings
Disney Cruise Line may offer beverage seminars such as beer, wine, champagne, tequila, margarita, martini, bourbon, whiskey, rum, gin, mixology, and Old Fashioned tastings. Offerings vary by ship and sailing, and reservations are limited.
Please include your preferred meal time, party size, and alternate dates for adult-exclusive dining. For beverage tastings, please list your preferred tasting type and whether you are open to other tasting options if your first choice is unavailable.
Kids, Tweens, Teens & Nursery Information
One of the best parts of sailing with Disney Cruise Line is the youth programming. Many youth club experiences are included and do not require you to reserve a specific activity time, but nursery care and some special experiences may require reservations and additional fees.
Disney Cruise Line Youth Spaces
Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are designed for children ages 3 to 10 who are fully toilet-trained during secured programming hours. Edge is designed for tweens ages 11 to 14, while Vibe is designed for teens ages 14 to 17. “it’s a small world” nursery! is available for younger children and requires reservations, with ages and availability varying slightly by itinerary.
- Nursery reservations: “it’s a small world” nursery! is typically for children ages 6 months to 3 years, with some longer itineraries requiring children to be at least 1 year old. Additional fees apply.
- Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique: Princess, knight, and other makeover packages may be available for children, depending on ship and sailing.
- Pirates League: Pirate makeovers may be offered on select sailings, often around Pirate Night or themed programming.
- Royal experiences: Royal Court Royal Tea, Adventure Tea with Royalty, Olaf’s Royal Picnic, and Royal Society for Friendship and Tea are ship-specific and sailing-specific. Some are paid character dining experiences and may sell out quickly.

Activities That Usually Do Not Require Advance Booking
Many of the best parts of a Disney Cruise are included with your cruise fare and do not require our team to reserve a specific time before sailing.
- Rotational dining: Your traditional dining room rotation is assigned by Disney Cruise Line and will be visible once onboard.
- Evening shows: Broadway-style entertainment and evening productions are generally included.
- Movies: Movie screenings onboard are included.
- Fireworks at Sea: Offered on select sailings, weather and itinerary permitting.
- Kids clubs: Oceaneer Club, Oceaneer Lab, Edge, and Vibe programming is generally available onboard for eligible ages, while nursery care requires reservations and an additional fee.
Pre-Cruise Hotel & Transportation
This is also a great time to finalize pre-cruise hotel accommodations and transportation to the port. These details can make a major difference in how smoothly your embarkation day goes, especially for families flying in the day before sailing.

Examples: Palo brunch for 2 adults on sea day, Royal Court Royal Tea for 1 child and 1 adult, nursery reservation during Palo dinner, beach Port Adventure in Cozumel for 4 guests, or mixology class for 2 adults.
