Part of our Disney Lakeshore Lodge planning guide.
Lakeshore Lodge dining includes three announced core venues: Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill. Disney has also revealed Branch & Brush lounge and Dandelion Terrace, a fireworks-viewing space. The Artist’s Nest is a separate Club Level lounge for eligible accommodations.
The resort opens July 1, 2027. This is a guide to announced experiences and meal planning, with Disney concept art; it is not a restaurant review.
A good resort meal plan covers everyday needs as well as a special dinner. You need breakfast before a park day, something easy after swimming and enough flexibility when a child is tired or a flight arrives late.
Here is how I would use the announced Lakeshore Lodge venues to plan those moments, and what I would verify before reserving a meal.
Lakeshore Lodge dining at a glance
| Venue | What it means for your plans |
|---|---|
| Moonglade | Lakefront table-service dining; investigate for a relaxed resort meal |
| Bay Lake Provisions | Quick-service marketplace; check for everyday meals, snacks and coffee |
| Paint Out Point Bar & Grill | Casual open-air food and beverages near the recreation area |
| Branch & Brush | Separately announced lounge with cocktails and Bay Lake views |
| Dandelion Terrace | Fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant viewing space; verify services and access |
| The Artist’s Nest | Club Level lounge for eligible booked accommodations |
Disney’s announcements describe the settings and general offerings. Verify the current menu, hours, access rules and reservation options for your travel dates. A lounge or viewing terrace should not be counted as a guaranteed full-service meal.
Moonglade: the lakefront table-service restaurant
Moonglade is the announced table-service restaurant along Bay Lake. Disney describes seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, with broad windows overlooking the waterfront.
I would consider it for a slow resort dinner. Sit down, talk about the day and enjoy the setting with time to spare.
I would place that meal on a resort afternoon or a day with a flexible finish. It is harder to enjoy a relaxed dinner when the entire family is watching the clock for an attraction return time elsewhere.
Before you choose it for a special meal, check the menu, meal times, kids’ choices and rules for changes. A restaurant’s lakefront location does not guarantee a window table, fireworks sightline or specific table request.
Bay Lake Provisions: the everyday meal-planning anchor
Bay Lake Provisions is the quick-service marketplace. Disney describes quick meals, snacks, specialty coffees and beverages, with an open-kitchen setting in its announcement.
This is the venue I would investigate first for a busy park morning. Check three things: will it open before you need to leave? Does the menu suit your family? How will you order and collect the food?
Keep a small amount of breakfast food in the room if your accommodation and plans suit that approach. It can help when different family members wake at different times. Then use the marketplace when you want a fresh meal or coffee.
Check whether mobile ordering is offered for the venue and your dates. An announced quick-service format does not by itself confirm every ordering method.
Paint Out Point Bar & Grill: a casual resort-day option
Paint Out Point Bar & Grill is planned near Lakeshore Lagoon and The Wetlands recreation area. Disney describes casual American fare, shareable bites and beverages in an open-air setting.
It looks useful for the middle of a resort day. An easy lunch close to the pool and play area can keep a swim break from turning into a long trip across Walt Disney World.
Before building the whole afternoon around it, check service hours, seating and the current menu. Pool time, a meal and a rest in the room often make a better family break than trying to fit all three into a very short window.
If the lazy river is a main reason you are booking the resort, read the Lakeshore Lodge pools and Wetlands guide while planning that day.
Branch & Brush, Dandelion Terrace and The Artist’s Nest
Branch & Brush: the announced lounge
Disney revealed Branch & Brush in its October 1, 2026 update. The planned lounge has Bay Lake views, cocktails and a color-changing chandelier inspired by the seasons.
For an adults’ evening, it is worth comparing with your other plans. Check the food and beverage menus, hours and access details before you decide whether it can stand in for a meal or is better treated as a separate stop.
Dandelion Terrace: plan for the view
Dandelion Terrace is highlighted by Disney for Magic Kingdom fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant viewing. Its announced design draws on Fantasia artwork and dandelion-inspired lighting.
Treat this first as a viewing space. A view alone does not promise a dining package, reserved seat or nightly show. Check access, capacity and the entertainment schedule close to your stay.
Also decide what kind of fireworks experience your family wants. Watching from the resort is different from standing inside Magic Kingdom, where the castle, music and projections are part of the experience.
The Artist’s Nest: tied to Club Level accommodations
The Artist’s Nest is the Club Level lounge. Disney lists access with eligible rooms and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite, along with included snacks and drinks and concierge services.
It is not included with every Lakeshore Lodge stay. Check your booked category and the lounge’s service schedule. If you are comparing a villa kitchen with Club Level, think about the times you will actually be back at the hotel.
The Lakeshore Lodge room guide explains those accommodation differences.
When can you book Lakeshore Lodge dining?
A hotel reservation and a dining reservation are separate bookings. Securing a room for July 2027 does not mean you have secured a table at Moonglade.
Disney’s current general guidance allows advance dining reservations up to 60 days ahead. Guests with a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation can book for their stay, up to 10 nights, starting 60 days before arrival. Other guests generally book each date up to 60 days ahead.
Those general rules do not prove that a new restaurant’s reservation inventory has been released. For Lakeshore Lodge’s opening season, check the venue’s own bookable listing and any special announcement. Review the policy again when your window approaches.
Use Disney’s official dining availability search to see what can actually be reserved. Include the full dining party, and read the venue’s deposit, cancellation and no-show terms before you confirm.
A simple meal plan for three different days
An arrival day with an uncertain flight time
Keep the first meal flexible. A quick meal at Bay Lake Provisions may fit better than a table-service reservation with a cancellation deadline. Once you have arrived, you can settle into the room and see how much energy everyone has.
A Magic Kingdom day
Decide on breakfast before choosing a departure time. Then leave room for the trip from your accommodation to the boat. If you want dinner back at Lakeshore Lodge, allow a realistic return window and avoid making the entire evening depend on the shortest possible journey.
A resort afternoon
Build the day around one main meal. You could have a simple room breakfast, look at Paint Out Point for a casual lunch, then plan Moonglade for a relaxed dinner if its menu and availability suit your group. The important part is leaving time to enjoy the resort between meals.
What should families check before choosing a restaurant?
- Menu fit: confirm current children’s choices and the foods your group will actually eat.
- Timing: leave room for naps, transport and changing after the pool.
- Cost: compare the full meal, including drinks, taxes and any applicable gratuity or service terms.
- Dietary needs: follow Disney’s current special-dietary-request process and speak directly with the dining team about specific requirements.
- Dining plans: check the exact venue’s participation and credit requirements for your package and travel dates.
If character dining is a priority, Wilderness Lodge currently lists Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. That is a separate restaurant at a different resort. Our Wilderness Lodge dining guide and Lakeshore Lodge comparison can help you decide how much that should influence your hotel choice.
Lakeshore Lodge dining questions
What restaurants are announced for Lakeshore Lodge?
Disney names Moonglade, Bay Lake Provisions and Paint Out Point Bar & Grill as the three core dining venues. Branch & Brush is a separately announced lounge.
Is Moonglade character dining?
Disney’s announcements describe Moonglade as lakefront table-service dining with seasonal ingredients. They do not announce a character-dining experience.
Can you reserve a fireworks table at Dandelion Terrace?
Disney highlights the space for fireworks viewing. That does not mean you can book a table there. Check the current listing and any specific booking terms before making plans around a seat.
Are meals included with every room?
Do not assume meals are included. Check your room or package inclusions. Club Level refreshments, when included with an eligible category, are separate from general restaurant reservations.
Are full menus and prices included in this guide?
No menu prices are quoted here. Choose from the current Disney menu and reservation listing for your dates, rather than treating early artwork as a finished menu.
Do you need to stay at Lakeshore Lodge to request a restaurant reservation?
Disney dining reservations can generally be requested by other guests when inventory is available. Check the venue’s access rules and transportation or parking arrangements; a reservation does not include hotel amenities.
